Meredith C. Moore, LUTCF,  CLTC -- owner, planner

Meredith has built a successful practice that works

with businesses, providing them with estate planning,

business succession planning, asset management* and risk

management. She provides the link that seems to always be

missing….coordination and integration between all financial

decisions.
 
 As a lifelong resident of Georgia, Meredith’s roots are in

Atlanta and she currently resides in Alpharetta with her son,

Erik.  She received a bachelor’s of Industrial Engineering from

Georgia Tech, after attending Rice University in Houston.  Meredith is a member of the

North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of the Leadership North Fulton

Class of 2005.  Through her work with Junior Achievement, she has taught 12th graders personal finance.  For fun, Meredith is an avid tri-athlete, participating in numerous races around the Southeast, to offset her love of finding unique restaurants around Atlanta.
 

Her achievements include:

  - Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Up & Comers for 2009, the Top 40 Under 40.  She won this award among a pool of over 400 applicants.

  - Profiled in “Newsweek Magazine” for receiving the Life Foundation’s 2006 “Client Service Award”.

  - Consistent Million Dollar Roundtable qualifier for the financial services industry, placing her 2001 production in the top 10% in the industry.

  - Personal story profiled on NBC competing in the AFLAC IronGirl triathlon

  - 2009 Leadership Character Nominee for Turknett Leadership Group

Meredith also does extensive motivational and educational public speaking on her personal story of surviving brain cancer.  After being diagnosed in 2005 with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor only five weeks after having her only child, Meredith speaks frequently to industry and community service organizations on the key role and importance of life, disability and long-term care insurance planning.

Robin Buckley – Office Coordinator
Robin started at Moore & Associates in October of 2005. She has worked in a variety of jobs from military personnel, counseling, medical offices, school offices and finally to insurance & investments. At Moore and Associates, she assists Meredith by keeping the office running so Meredith can run appointments with clients. She is available for clients to contact with service related questions and to make appointments. Robin and her family moved to Georgia from the Florida Keys in 1998.  She lives with her husband of 24 years in Cumming, Ga. They have a son, Mick and a daughter Danica who attends Kennesaw State University. She enjoys being with her family, has multiple fresh water aquariums, is an avid gardener, reader, family historian and a HUGE fan of Survivor.

Kathy Davis – Paraplanner
Kathy Davis  has been with Moore and Associates since December of 2008. Having a highly diversified background in several industries, she brings an inquisitive outlook to the paraplanning position while being highly meticulous and analytical. Kathy is a long time resident of North Fulton currently residing in Milton with her fuzzy grey child – Emma the Cat. When not at Georgia State University working on her finance degree or paraplanning at M & A, she enjoys puzzles, reading anything she can get her hands on, and training for triathlon.

Alex Eklind - Intern

Alex began interning at Moore and Associates in January 2009. He is graduating from Kennesaw State University in May 2010 with a BBA in Finance.  He is currently working on obtaining his insurance and investment licenses. When he’s not studying or reviewing financial documents, Alex enjoys hitting the links, going to the lake, and taking vacations. Inspiring to follow in Meredith’s footsteps, he works hard and adds a nice male touch to the office.

Molly "Financial Dog" Hansen - Financial Dog has helped Moore and Associates continue to deliver superior performance to clients since the beginning of 2006. Her hobbies include chasing squirrels, running 5K's, swimming, and playing with her brother Erik (Meredith's son).
