Family Business Focus

A business owner with a heart for entrepreneurship, Meredith Moore demonstrates a strong commitment to family-owned business, an oft-neglected but vital part of the economic landscape. She works regularly with the Cox Family Enterprise Center at Kennesaw State University and with the Georgia Funeral Directors Association in support of family business.

As an entrepreneur and a brain cancer survivor, Meredith has developed a personal and professional interest in succession planning for family business. She understands the importance of sound practices to ensure a company’s longevity. She wears her “comprehensive financial planner” hat for Atlanta-area family businesses every day.

Working with a company’s existing financial and legal advisors, she creates strategies that touch nearly every aspect of a business, from valuation and cash flow to keeping key employees to finding tax savings. Together, she and her family business owner clients formulate plans that will support their businesses and their families for generations to come.

Meredith and Dwayne Samples host Family Business Radio as a platform to showcase family-owned businesses, key executive non-family members who are helping drive those businesses, and the professional advisors who assist them. Bringing multi-faceted experience in family business and financial management themselves, the co-hosts aim to create a community that will educate, inform and support family-owned business.

Listen to Family Business Radio live every Thursday at 1 p.m. Eastern.
